Cheese culture at its best is celebrated daily at the foot of the Buochserhorn.
The milk from the happy cows, which are allowed to graze on lush meadows, is collected from the neighbouring farms and processed into our top-quality products.

Walter and Martha Rölli-Wyrsch founded the Langentannen mountain cheese dairy in 1963 and the new building was constructed. They focussed on the production of Sbrinz. The business grew steadily and various dairy farmers became involved. Since 1 April 2022, the cheese dairy in Buochs has been leased and the 15 dairy farmers taken over.
