Cheese culture at its best is celebrated daily at the foot of the Buochserhorn.
The milk from the happy cows, which are allowed to graze on lush meadows, is collected from the surrounding farms and processed into our top-quality products.

Walter and Martha Rölli-Wyrsch founded the Langentannen mountain cheese dairy in 1963 and the new building was constructed. They concentrated on the production of Sbrinz. The business grew steadily and various dairy farmers became involved. Since 1 April 2022, the cheese dairy in Buochs has been leased and the 15 dairy farmers have been taken over.

"Chäser-Stübli" on the Buochserhorn
The cozy Chäser-Stübli offers space for around 40 people. It is particularly suitable for company evenings, family and birthday parties and club events. Use by reservation only. The Chäser-Stübli is located at the Langentannen cheese dairy in Buochs. It is located at the foot of the Buochserhorn with a wonderful view of Lake Lucerne and the magnificent mountain scenery.

Opening times: November 1 - December 22 and January 3 - April 30
