The nature-loving family attaches great importance to sustainable and regional production. The milk and other ingredients come from the local area. This results in unique culinary delights every day - from raw milk cheeses to semi-hard cheeses as well as fried cheese and the ever-popular classic "Sbrinz". Of course, the chuffy "Anke" is also part of the range. There are no limits to innovation and new cheeses are constantly being added, with names such as "Charme" or "Nidwaldner Traum".
The Sbrinz AOP from the Bürg cheese dairy in Buochs won the gold medal and the "Excellence" award at ALP'24, the first international competition for regional Alpine products, making it the best cheese in the Alps. The smoked raclette also won the bronze medal. The event was organised by CULINARIUM ALPINUM in Stans and takes place every two years.
