Ordmatt Käserei AG was founded in 1972 by the brothers Ernst and Hermann Odermatt as a family business.
From the very beginning, goat's milk was processed into cheese alongside cow's milk.
In 1985, the cheese dairy was built at its current location on the cycle path between Dallenwil and Wolfenschiessen.
Patrick Odermatt took over the business from his father in 2013.
Since April 2019, the family business has switched production exclusively to goat's milk and stopped processing cow's milk.
Even after such a long time, our master cheesemaker Patrick has by no means run out of ideas. He regularly tinkers with new creations, which his team realises by hand with a lot of love and passion.
