High-stem trees are an important element for biodiversity. They provide a habitat for many birds, butterflies and countless small creatures. Before pressing, the apples are meticulously washed and sorted by hand to produce a high-quality cider. We produce all the energy we need for production and processing ourselves in our three solar plants.
Products
The basic product, our sweet cider, is available in 1, 3, 5 and 10 litre containers. The sweet cider is also available for purchase in 1 litre containers enriched with hops. The Nidwaldner Edel-Likör, the Nidwaldner Edelsaft, the Nidwaldner Glüh-Gin and the Nidwaldner Edelmost are all another exciting processing of our fruit. With their attractive labels, they are also particularly suitable as souvenirs or gifts.
Nidwaldner Edelsaft won the gold medal with the Nidwaldner Hopfenschorle at ALP'24, the first international competition for Alpine regional products. The event was organised by CULINARIUM ALPINUM in Stans and takes place every two years.
