The salt magazine is one of four buildings of the Nidwalder Museum in Stans. It was built at the beginning of the 18th century and is a listed building. The Salzmagazin is located in the centre of Stans, at the valley station of the Stanserhorn cable car. From spring to autumn, the Nidwalden Museum presents special exhibitions on a cultural-historical theme.
