Nearby
The surrounding area offers numerous hiking routes of varying lengths, which provide wonderful hours in nature for families and experienced hikers alike. Snowboarders and ski tourers also get their money's worth here in winter. The Haldigrat is a true Mecca for freeriders.
Aprox. 30 minutes' walk from the Niederrickenbach cable car mountain station at 1,232 metres above sea level is the valley station of the almost 2,000-metre-long chairlift to the Haldigrat, which is not just suitable for getting there. A 12-minute ride on the nostalgic railway (Städeli lift) offers views of mountains, meadows and, with a bit of luck, wildlife at this altitude.
