For a relaxed tour, we recommend the picturesque path over the Sassigrat ridge into the Grosstal valley. Or would you prefer to head for the heights? From the Musenalp mountain station, summiteers can climb the majestic Uri-Rotstock or the imposing Gitschen, two of the most famous peaks in Uri.

The cosy mountain inn Musenalp is a perfect retreat after your hike. You can reach it from Isenthal in around two hours' pleasant walking time, or you can take the well-marked hiking trail from the valley station of the cable car, which takes you up to the Musenalp in just 45 minutes. The family-friendly inn not only offers delicious food, but also affordable accommodation and traditional cuisine to make your stay an unforgettable experience.

Openings

During the alpine season and until the restaurant closes for the season, the railway runs every half hour from 7.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. or from 3 persons (except for the lunch break from 12.00 p.m. to 1.00 p.m.). There is no operation in winter.
