In summer, the cable car can be reached on foot, by bike or by car from Engelberg. In winter, the cable car is located on the ski piste between Trübsee and Engelberg.
From the Älplerseil mountain station you walk to the lake in about 15 minutes in summer. From here you can comfortably take the chairlift or hike further up to Jochpass - Stand - Titlis.
