The maximum speed limit on Kehrsitenstrasse is 30 km/h along the entire road (approx. 3.3 km to the flat). Slow-moving traffic is to be expected (pedestrians, rollerbladers, bicycles). Slow, considerate and anticipatory driving is recommended. If there is oncoming traffic, use a passing niche. If you are closer to a passing place, drive back. Important information for travelling by public boat: Kehrsiten has two boat stations, Kehrsiten - Dorf and Kehrsiten - Bürgenstock, with the latter having an hourly connection to Lucerne 365 days a year from 08:00 - 24:00*. The walk uphill (from both boat stations) to the accommodation takes about 10 minutes. It is possible to take the taxi shuttle to the flat (costs approx. CHF 20.-).
