In the immediate vicinity of the forest hut is a natural children's playground with fire pits. Walking and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity as well as another fireplace site "Marienhöhe" on the Tannwald circular trail high above Lake Uri.
The Seelisberger Seeli can be reached on foot within 20 minutes and invites you to swim in summer.
